retest

hi all had retest today , passed all that he failed me on ,now it seems there is to much movement on subframe when you pull handbrake,and parking brake fails to have any reserve travel ,which i said i could adjust but failed any way,so i need to strenghten the sub frame were hand brake brackets are mounted,ninty miles each way and a day off work is starting to get expensive so lets hope third time lucky

You poor sod, he was being a right knob, they're only supposed to check what it failed on last time. I braced mine across to the chassis but I think when I did MattBlack's I straightened the 90 degree brackets & mounted them on the chassis & not the subframe but can't remember exactly.

I made up some brackets that fitted into the subframe to strengthen this area up.

Going on holiday at 05.30 in the morning, but if your still interested when I get back I can take some photo's

Dave told me to mount the brackets on the chassis not the subframe as someone had failed on the same thing.
