Yes, Alan, the berman's are autos, but I shouldn't think it would be impossible to pop something else on the back end with a kliktronic shift.

One of these has already passed MSVA, so shouldn't be a problem there, added to that the MSVA is only around a ton :0)

Whats the difference between an MSVA and an SVA then?

Something to do with it being motorcycle derived?

Got it in one ...MSVA is the motorcycle version of SVA (and, so far hasn't become MIVA !! ) the fee for which is £114. The manual is just as thick though !

Ahhh I never knew that!

Guess its a lot easier if the kit has been designed to be made road legal!

I keep looikng at a few of the more 'luxurious' kits on pistonheads and I've promised myself I'l one day build a brand new kit using all brand new components! I just love how clean and professional some of them look!

Yeah -- that'd be cool --- take the time and buy the best as and when budget allows. At the moment, though , before I got side tracked by this little toy, I am looking at re-bodies ( no IVA at all). There's a nice looking aston-esque rebody for the MX 5 that has taken my fancy: http://www.amxastonish.co.uk/
