Need a set of uninsulated crimpers or put it another way a set of crimpers for uninsulated terminals, you know the ones that bend the tabs over on the terminals so you can put them into those multi-blocks. Seen them on Fleecbay but not sure what's good & what's not.
Avoid D1 like the plague unless you love you're multimeter and tracking down obscure gremlins.
PR3 if you're doing them every day
MP71 or PR4 are the styles to choose between, the non ratchet ones are a little harder to use but with practice will be fine.
I'd always recommend ratchet crimpers for any type of terminal crimping, best thing I ever bought, though I perhaps shouldn't boast being the recipient of 2 electrical fires... :-[
Thanks guys but had another look at the work to be done & have decided at the moment to solder the connections & put some heat shrink round them, otherwise I would have had 2 multipin connectors within 6 inches of each other.
