What thickness checkerplate???

Can anyone tell me the thickness of the checkerplate needed for a) the side panels in one piece and b) what thickness to use to bend for bulkheads and rear engine chasis cover.

2mm should be fine, which seems to be the thinnest you can get in 5 bar chequerplate.
If you go for triplegrip then you can get 1.5mm.

Aalco are worth a call/email, probably not the cheapest but if buying a full sheet certainly cheaper than getting a big bit from the guys who sell offcuts to kitcar builders.
