if you are going to stay with 15" dia wheels it opens up offroad type tyres desiged for 4x4's, second hand 15" tyres tend to be nice and cheap and will certainly be tough enough for the job, only problem l can see is that it might throw your gearing out a bit if you are using a mini gearbox designed for 12" wheels or there abouts

and those are mild plenty of much more aggressive tread pattens out there, but they might limit where you can take you buggy to run it as some sites dont like alligator or dumper type tyres
