All being well I will be in mine, replaced the low fuel level switch last night, putting the tank back in shortly, so long as it starts and runs again I will be setting off in it !!

At least you will have room in your car for the fire extinguishers.

If you see a little black yaris with two guys in it thats probably me Steve. If you see me before you go in i can give you the extinguishers.  ;D

I'm having a change of plan, I'm full of cold & don't fancy a night under canvas, yes Danny I am a whimp  ;D So will only be there Sunday, going to have a BBQ around 5-6 & then head back up home for a night in a warm bed.

I went down saturday, made good time. Set up pitch just before the rain got serious... then woke up half way through the night when the rain stopped and it went freezing. It was a cold day but very fun! Lots of bargains to be had, there was a slightly better turn out on saturday if not the same amount as last year. The club stand looked great with the flags and fly guys! Whatsmore adding to excitement, danny and simon had an accident :O Everyone was on hand fixing things whilst danny fixed himself with painkillers and strongbow ;D I have pictures of why danny was so "happy" as well :D I look forward to next year already! I hope tomorrow will be better weather those staying,
Thanks for the inspiration and banter as usual!

Was good to see old & new faces, would imagine it's pretty cold there at the moment. We did okay in the way back until 10 miles from home & ran into a tremendous hailstorm, it was so bad I couldn't keep driving & had to pull over. I was wearing a fleece hat & goggles & the hail was so painful on my face I just couldn't keep driving. 8 buggies, a new record, maybe we can get into double figures next year or Newark.

Was a pretty good Day to be honest, despite the on/off weather :D

Was my first Stoneleigh and definately not my last, will be attending from now on every year. Was nice to meet a few of you guys and one or two i had met before. Sorry i didn't say goodbye or get a chance to speak to you all but me and my mate where all over the place and tried to cram as much in as possible in the short time we had.

Nice chatting to you Max and thanks for the headsup on the MK4 Golf calipers, got myself a set with my change i had left  ;D Didn't get any money knocked off though! I spent far too much money (£250 in total!)but could have spent hundreds more so not too bad and i picked up some great ideas and some really nice parts. Plus some companies that im contacting shortly for some specialist parts 8)

Was great to see everyone and next year mine WILL be there, and if Max can get his there also then we should see double figures in turnout  ;D

Jason,

I turned round & you'd gone or I wandered off to talk to somebody & when I looked you'd gone, I was going to offer you that drive you wanted after Danny's incident

Nice to meet you Max and your Dad , great to see so many buggys on the stand it looked like a club for a moment there : :D pity about the rain while  camping and the bitter cold but they make us Northern folk tough eh ?

As usual nice to see those that I knew a little from Newark last year and meet Dan and some others that I did not know .(good luck with the Aussy thing dan )

Buggy delivered to Lichfield new owner is John he may well register and become a member passed on one of Dans cards to him and the rest is up to him.He will fit right in with you lot he is a decent down to earth straight as a die person.  It was fun while it lasted but time for me to move on I will be around on the forum from time to time to observe.

Lastly ...

A BIG THANKS to you guys for making me feel so welcome and helping me with advice and such it is a small club numbers wise but you guys (you know who you are ) are worthy friends and all round good eggs  ;D

Thanks a lot I really mean that.

Ah Bugger  :(

My mate wanted to go and look at the trade stales again and i wanted to go and pick up the Golf calipers. We spent ages walking around again and by the time we where done we where pretty much at the exit. Was going to come back and say hi but my mate had to get back and my feet where almost dropping off! Thats the most i have walked since the operation!  :p

Me and Lee both did the Westfield Slalom early on, we had to bet the queues (great advice Max!) ;D

Misses and Toria didn't get too board (I don't think) ;)

It was great to put faces to forum names, well the ones I managed meet up with ;D

Bring on the next show (Newark I believe) ;D

Thanks fellas!

Did you get your tanks in the end? We had to leave and so left them with danny, who if you didn't come back was going to give to pat because you work at the same place ;D

Hi Max,

Yeah, got them!!
As we walked round the corner to see your tent and car had gone, I thought "oh crap"

But then noticed them by Danny's sort of straightened buggy!!

We then said our goodbyes, picked them up and left!!

They'll hopefully be on the buggy in a couple of weeks ;D

Cheers, Steve.
